HELLO FROM CHINA

Last updated 4th June 2001 - see What's new? section

For all my friends and generous sponsors, this site is a way of keeping in touch with you. I'll update it as often as I can. Thanks again for all your help in sending me to China - and keep on writing those letters and emails (address below).

For anyone reading this by chance…

My name is Lucy Bruzzone and I'm a volunteer English teacher at Zhaoqing Middle School in Guangdong Province in the south of China.

I come from England and I am on a 'gap year' between school and university. I was sent to China by Project Trust, a charity which specializes in sending gap year students on projects abroad.

I arrived in China in August 2000 and will be here until August 2001. I am with a partner volunteer, called Alex.

The rest of the site is extracts from my emails and letters home and some photos. I hope you enjoy browsing. Use the menu on the left to navigate around.

I have just set up a group area where we can all meet and post mail, pictures, documents etc. Click on the button below and have a browse. You must click on the Message button on the left of the screen. Feel free to join if you wish to participate in our chit-chat
